Rutland makes two new appointments

Rutland Partners is pleased to announce that David Wardrop and Tristan Craddock have joined the investment team.

David joins Rutland as an Investment Manager from Close Brothers Corporate Finance where he gained specific experience in both the Manufacturing and Support Services sectors as well as working on a wide range of high profile private equity and public transactions in both the UK and Europe. Prior to Close Brothers, he spent two years at Citigroup and is an engineering and manufacturing graduate of Durham University.

Tristan joins Rutland as an Investment Executive from Ernst & Young where he qualified as a chartered accountant prior to joining their Transaction Advisory Services team where he worked both pre- and post-deal with a number of private and corporate clients specialising in the operational analysis and performance improvement aspects of transactions. Tristan is a mechanical engineering graduate from Newcastle University.

Following the recruitment of Kajen Mohanadas in June this year, Rutland now has 11 investment professionals focussing on its niche of investing in UK companies where it can actively engage to address underperformance, the need to restructure or to assist with strategic change.

Michael Langdon, Chairman of Rutland Partners, said:

I am delighted to welcome David and Tristan to the team. We anticipate a particularly active period for Rutland and both David and Tristan bring highly relevant skills and experience to assist us in the successful investment of Rutland Fund II.
