Rutland receives Buy-out Award for CeDo
Rutland Partners received the Buy-out of the Year Award at the M&A Awards 2010 for its acquisition of the CeDo group of companies. This award recognised the most transformational buy-out during the past 12 months.
The judges also commended CeDo for being one of the few mid-market cross border deals of substance to be done in 2009 requiring an innovative debt structure and assessed how the deal intends to progress the ambitions of the business, how stakeholders were managed and how funds were raised to complete the deal.
Rutland fought off strong competition to win the award which included LDC, Sovereign Capital, Primary Capital and NBGI Private Equity.
CeDo is one of Europe's leading manufacturers of household disposables such as refuse sacks, cling film and aluminium foil.
