In choosing our investments we're very selective

Helping companies to transform their performance and increase their value is an intensive activity requiring a great deal of attention. The critical first step is finding the right companies.

As well as meeting our investment criteria of needing £10-50 million of equity and being a UK centric business worth £20-200 million, we also ask ourselves some probing questions:

  • Does the business face challenges that it can overcome?
  • Is the ability to overcome those challenges in its control?
  • Does the business have a sustainable competitive proposition?
  • Is the profile of the business one that fits our criteria?
  • Can we help make a difference?
